Why give to Age Concern Bromyard & District?
If we have helped you, your family or a friend or neighbour in some way, why not consider giving directly to Age Concern Bromyard & District. By giving directly we ensure your money pays for services in the local area.
We are a small, rural Charity which receives no central funding for our services. We handle just under 6,000 enquiries each year across our information & advice and in our programmes. People come to us for many reasons, most of them acute. We see everything from elder abuse to homelessness, serious health problems, high levels of debt and difficulty with bills or suppliers, problems finding appropriate care and many cases relating to benefits.
Our wonderful volunteers put in hundreds of hours each year to help befriend, home visit, cut toe nails, provide benefits checks and information & advice. Volunteers also help with social events and on fundraising days. They are at the heart of our work and they are all from the local community.
If you wish to make a donation to help keep our services for older adults aged 50+, please make your cheque payable to Age Concern Bromyard & District and post it to 5 Broad Street, Bromyard HR7 4BS. Payroll giving can be arranged on request.
Gift Aid
If you are a UK tax payer please consider donating through Gift Aid. This allows charities to recover the tax paid on any donation, increasing the donation by at least 28%. If you are a higher tax payer then this could be as much as 40%. This is all at no cost to you. We recover the money directly from the Government provided you have filled out a Gift Aid declaration. Please contact us for a copy of the relevant form via Jane Jenner through 01885 483483 or

Legacies
If we have been able to support you or a close relative in some way, please remember us in your Will? Your legacy should be clearly marked as being for the benefit of Age Concern Bromyard & District. If this is not clear in your Will, then the bequest will be directed to Age Concern England for national work.
