Age Concern throughout Herefordshire and Worcestershire

Age Concern Redditch and District relies on volunteers to assist with and provide the services and facilities that we offer to the older people in our area.  Can you help us to help more of our local residents by being a volunteer?

We can offer training and support to you and assist with your expenses while you are helping to make a difference to the quality of life of older residents in the Borough. We will ask you to complete an Application Form and to supply 2 personal references. You will also be asked to complete a simple form for a Crimninal Records Bureau check.

There are opportunities for you and a need by us for volunteers for the following services:-

• "Befriending" visiting and supporting older lonely or housebound people in their own homes.  Just knowing that somebody is calling to see and talk to them can make such a difference.
• "Office Support" giving time to assist in running the office by supporting the existing staff and volunteers to extend our office hours.

Help from people of any age is always appreciated, whatever time you can give will make a difference.
