The club is for older people to enter into the digital age and to explore new opportunities through the use of a computer and especially the internet. Meetings are held at the John Masefield High School in Mabels Furlong, Ledbury from 4.45pm to 6.45pm on alternate Thursdays during school term time. Dates for the Autumn / Winter term are being finalised at the moment and will be published shortly. If you would like to reserve a place in the meantime, please call us on 01531 631280 and speak to Angela Thompson. The club has a large number of members and offers an opportunity for everyone to learn about computing and to practice their skills, however limited. No previous knowledge is necessary and everyone is welcome to attend whatever their skill level. Informal help and instruction from Age Concern staff, volunteers, fellow club members and professional tutors is available as appropriate. The club offers down to earth practical advice but does NOT offer formal training courses. Club membership is £20 per half year, payable in advance in September and February each year. For more information or to book a place for the Silver Surfers Club please call us on 01531 631280.
