Age Concern Ross-on-Wye and District has adopted this as our Mission Statement:

To promote the well being of all older people and help make life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

Our 4 staff members and some 30 volunteers work to enhance the lives of the older members of the community residing in Ross-on-Wye and in these surrounding parishes of South Herefordshire:

Aston Ingham, Brampton Abbotts, Bridstow, Ganarew, Goodrich, Hope Mansell, The Lea, Linton, Llangarron, Llanrothal, Marstow, Peterstow, Ross Rural, Sollers Hope, Upton Bishop, Walford, Welsh Bicknor, Welsh Newton, Weston-Under-Penyard, Whitchurch and Yatton.

Our Drop-In Centre, where we also have our offices, is at 46 Broad Street, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 7DY and is open to callers either in person or on the phone (01989 763887) between 9.30am and 12.30pm daily from Monday to Friday.

We can be found on Broad Street in the passageway between Cornwalls the butchers and the Oxfam Charity Shop:

Another entrance is through the gate at the end of the top part of the Maltings (Somerfield) Car Park off Henry Street.  This one, however, has three steps to negotiate:

In Broad Street and in the car park just follow the instructions on our sign telling you to press the buzzer for our entry-phone and one of our volunteers will let you in or, if you need help, come to assist you.
