“To help older people in Leominster District to remain as independently, as comfortable, for as long as possible in their own homes and in their own communities.”

Age Concern is a federation of 260 groups and 135 organisations brought together to deliver a better quality of life for older people. Age Concern Leominster and District is one of these groups, an autonomous charity founded in 1984 it has 7 full time and 15 part time staff and approximately 110 volunteers. Its area of benefit is North Herefordshire including the market towns of Leominster, Kington and Tenbury Wells.

The organisation is quality assured by the Community Legal Services at General Help Level and Quality Counts ( Age Concern’s internal standard ) and the ACQUA accreditation which puts us on the approved list of providers for Health and Social Care work in Herefordshire.  Age Concern Leominster and District are a disability symbol holder.
