“To help older people in Leominster District to remain as independently, as comfortable, for as long as possible in their own homes and in their own communities.” Age Concern is a federation of 260 groups and 135 organisations brought together to deliver a better quality of life for older people. Age Concern Leominster and District is one of these groups, an autonomous charity founded in 1984 it has 7 full time and 15 part time staff and approximately 110 volunteers. Its area of benefit is North Herefordshire including the market towns of Leominster, Kington and Tenbury Wells.
Funders include:- The organisation is quality assured by the Community Legal Services at General Help Level and Quality Counts ( Age Concern’s internal standard ) and the ACQUA accreditation which puts us on the approved list of providers for Health and Social Care work in Herefordshire.
