Donate to Age Concern Ledbury & District Print E-mail

All donations, however small, are very welcome and ensure that we can continue providing support to more people each year. At the moment we deal with about 4500 enquiries and 2000 clients per year.

We receive no statutory (Government) funding to deliver our services and are dependent upon grants for which we have to apply on a continuous basis - and very importantly, donations from members of the public.

If you wish to make a donation to assist us in maintaining and developing our services for older people in Ledbury, please make your cheque payable to "Age Concern Ledbury & District" and post it to 38 Bye Street, Ledbury HR8 2AA.

Or, you can call our Wonderful  Number 0904 972 0023 at anytime. This automated donation line call will cost you a maximum of £1 from a BT landline, but other networks may cost more. The call will be automatically charged to your telephone bill and we recieve 76p in the pound. Or, if you are a UK tax payer and agree to Gift Aid your donation (see below) then we receive a total of 97p.

Gift Aid

Please consider donating through Gift Aid.

This is a mechanism, set up by the Government, to allow charities such as ours to recover the tax paid by you on any donation, thus swelling the donation by at least 21%. This is all at no cost to you, we recover the money directly from the Government provided you have filled out a Gift Aid declaration. Please contact us for a copy of the relevant form if you wish to donate in this way.

Legacies

If we have been able to support you or a close relative in some way, would you consider remembering Age Concern in your Will? If so, please make sure that your legacy is clearly identified as being for the benefit of "Age Concern Ledbury & District - Charity No 1123029". If this is not clear in your Will, then the bequest may well be directed to Age Concern England and will not be used for the local Age Concern in Ledbury, as you intended.
